Dacon Corporation recently broke ground for a 53,000 SF warehouse expansion for Romanow Container at 30 Porter Road, Littleton, MA. This will be the third design-build project Dacon has collaborated with Romanow Container during a strong growth period in Romanow’s corrugated supply and packaging business.
The project maximizes the buildable area for the site at 30 Porter Road and is a conventional steel beam and joist insulated metal sandwich panel, 24 foot clear height warehouse. Roofing is a fully-adhered EPDM .060 membrane. The building is sprinklered with an Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) wet system and illuminated by T8 energy-efficient lamps. Two new loading docks will service the new space and two new wall penetrations allow for free access to Romanow’s manufacturing operations. Occupancy is anticipated late third quarter 2015.
