Bill Lockwood is general superintendent at Dacon Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for the safety, quality, and field coordination of every Dacon project. He works closely Dacon’s project superintendents to ensure they have the resources required to successfully complete each job. In addition to his field responsibilities, Bill is involved with pre-construction planning to ensure the efficiency and safety with which projects are constructed.
Through his work at Dacon and in his previous roles at International Ventures, Glendon Construction, and Designed Wall Systems, Bill has gained extensive experience in a variety of project types. He is licensed as a construction supervisor by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and as a contractor in the State of Rhode Island. He also has a City of Cambridge inspectional commission license for control of building operation, as well as a City of Boston builder’s license.
Bill has been with Dacon Corporation since 1997. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and Nichols College. He is also CPR/First Aid/AED certified, and has completed Dacon Corporation’s safety issues and safety policy certification, the Occupational Safety and Health Association’s 30-hour certification, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering Construction certification, travelers fall hazard awareness training, and the Gould Construction Institute electrical safety in the workplace training.
