Dacon and Eppendorf Complete Enfield Facility

Designed for productivity and growth.

Dacon and Eppendorf have completed expanding manufacturing operations within the CT regional facility.  As a leading life science company, Eppendorf began on the heels of WWII in 1945 with a mission founded on improving human living conditions employing an ever focus of tomorrow.  It remains a family-owned business to this day. Their competencies are focused in 3key areas – liquid, sampling and cell handling. From basic lab applications to sophisticated molecular biology, Eppendorf acts as a partner supplying scientific instruments that ensure valid and complete research studies.  Noted product innovations include the first spectral line photometer and semi-automated work station.

This project is in response to new sales growth.  The 10,000 SF ISO-8 clean room will house injection molding operations to support their main lines of syringes and pipettes.  With the capacity to hold 100employees, this conversion entails new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and life safety systems, along with meeting the ISO standards for class 8certification.  States Kevin Quinn, Dacon’s CEO “With their entrepreneurial culture and forward-thinking product management, it is easy to see why Eppendorf continues on a successful trajectory.  We are enjoying creating an environment supporting their growth”.
