Challenge

As a 35-year-old design build firm, Dacon was busy focusing on their clients' goals and the markets they serve. Post pandemic, the firm wanted to update the office environment to reflect a homelike atmosphere and casual work culture. Envisioned was a restful space that allowed employees to thrive while exemplifying the creative capabilities of design build.

Design Build Value

The merits of this project rested on identifying areas of greatest impact for the cost, with materials and colors that would accent those details. To brighten and modernize the space neutral tones were used, collaborative areas reconfigured, energy efficient lights added and wooden slat ceilings installed to create visual movement and an inviting atmosphere. For health and energy efficiency, new roofing and HVAC systems were installed.
