As a leading life science company, Eppendorf knows that quality and reliability are critical to laboratory research. From basic lab applications to sophisticated molecular biology, Eppendorf scientific instruments ensure validity and completion of research studies. Due to a new client, they needed expansion to keep up with growth.
The merits of this project rest on productivity and flow. A 10,000 SF ISO 8 clean room was designed to house mechanical equipment to support the clean room process. Equipment included an air handling unit, dry cooler, chiller, heat exchanger and a new electrical service to feed this equipment. The second phase entailed a 2-story, 6,000 SF addition to the existing facility for a tool room.
