The client retained Dacon for two expansion projects. The first was centralizing operations via a 66,000 SF expansion in Westwood, at which time unsuitable soil presented a key challenge. To address this an integral foundation was built to reinforce load-bearing capability. Struggling to identify a second space for expansion, Romanow asked Dacon to evaluate 12 sites for feasibility, cost, benefits and deficits which resulted in a 108,000 SF Littleton-based warehouse. Dacon returned $124,000 to Romanow in realized savings.
