‍Managing over 6MM SF in leasing space, Carpionato Group is one of the largest integrated commercial real estate developers in New England. With an instinctive foresight for market trends, their goal was to create an open development complex from the former 1881 Sockanosset School for Boys.

Design Build Value

‍The design goal was to capitalize off distinctive geography and integrate historically significant architecture with modern living. To maximize the site, this 128,000 SF retail, restaurant and office building was repurposed from an existing structure, positioned at the highest elevation with full glass fronts open to east, south and west vistas. Rhode Island slate and granite building accents marry the complex to heritage structures. Exterior and interior egresses enable easy pedestrian and product flow supported by 100 parking spaces.
