A private, co-educational institution, Dexter’s hockey program is focused on productive players and people. As competitors in the New England Prep Division and a regular among the Elite 8, Dexter desired an ice rink enabling their team to excel.
With parking availability and flow a primary focus, this arena design focused on optimizing land contours. Building into a hillside space enabled a roof deck parking lot for 100 cars with an easy campus egress. The 40,000 SF skating facility entailed stadium seating, support facilities and an equipped machine room.
