A year-round daycare facility serving children 3-15 years, Robbins needed a larger, ground-up learning center to accommodate a diverse population. This entailed collaborative spaces, classrooms, bathrooms and a kitchen facility. A key challenge was the project had to be worked in accordance with their fundraising plans.
This expansion focused on an intriguing, youthful and fun environment to reflect Robbins' STEM curriculum. Bright colors, open spaces and juvenile imagery became key design elements. Working in tandem with Robbins’ financials, Dacon designed a 2-phase facility expansion plan including site configuration and split utilities. The result was a school which could grow with its students.
